After spending two minutes going Around the Grounds, the big NRL issues and tough questions are thrown at Kingfisher thick and fast: Who wins the comp? Who gets the wooden spoon? Who's the first coach to get sacked? Which team would you relocate to another location and what would they be called? Why are The Dolphins not called Redcliffe?!
Included in this pod, free of charge (and with apologies), Niki tells the story of August 3rd, 1997, when the Illawarra Steelers beat the Paramatta Eels 28-24 in a game that is a top 5 finish for any Steelers match, ever. Also mentioned is Niki and Brad getting egged. Classic.
The shoutouts flow to a lot of people in this episode, but not to Kevy because he was present in the Podquarters and it was specified during the show that the shoutout was therefore redundant.
